It was a beautiful day for a snowshoe race. This year marked the 3rd annual Snowshoe for Peru fundraising event at Sylvan Lake in Eagle, Colorado. The morning started off cold but once the sun came out and the race was about to beginning, it was a great day. The trail for the 5K race was a bit different than in past years which the racers seemed to enjoy. Most participants received a door prize before leaving the event donated by local sponsors and supporters. So everyone left happy and knowing they had supported an amazing organization in the process made it even better. Thanks to all who were involved. Hope to see you next year.
