Happy Easter! Yes Easter is celebrated in other parts of the world including Peru. One of the seven principles of the Luz de Vida program is health. This not only includes the physical and emotional health of the youth, but most importantly their spiritual health. Since we are a Christian based organization how can we not share the story of Jesus, especially his holy week experience from his riding into Jerusalem on a donkey to his resurrection after a brutal death. He did this all for us. Jesus died on the cross to save us from our own sins and gave us grace instead. Isn’t this a great story that everyone should hear, especially the youth? They are able to learn from this story that their messy past can be overcome with the right personnel relationship by their side to show them the way to eternal life for themselves.
