Junior is one of the youth in our outpatient program. He is studying Business Administration at a University in Trujillo. When he was only a year old, he fell and injured his nose. For his whole life, he has had difficulty breathing and suffered from frequent headaches due to this injury. He is unable to breath normally. As he has gotten older, his trouble with breathing has gotten worse. The doctors have advised that the only solution is for Junior to have surgery. Since it is winter break in Peru, this is an ideal time for him to have the surgery. He will need to spend at least one week in bed after the surgery.
