The seasons in Peru are the opposite of the ones in the United States. So as spring is approaching in the U.S. the Peruvians will be experiencing fall. It is not a drastic temperature change in Trujillo, where Corazon de Esperanza functions, because Trujillo is known as the city of eternal spring. Anyway, all of this seasonal craziness makes it a little difficult for the women in the Hilo y Semillas program to determine if they should be making jewelry or knit items. So they are going back and forth between the two to please their buyers in the U.S. and in Peru. They are currently working on new infinity scarf and slouchy hat designs.
