June 26, 2013 marked years since Casa Hogar Luz de Vida – Youth Transitional Home began and was officially registered with the Trujillo municipalidad and we held a small celebration to honor the day. In just a short time, we have 4 staff members, 4 youth living in our home, 6 youth outside of our walls receiving scholarships, 15 women who attend weekly bible study and skills training and outreach to many local orphanages and surrounding communities. Did I mention that we also have completed the first phase of our very own building housing our girls, our offices and volunteers? Thank you for each one of you for your support and love!
